As 2024 drew to a close, Connect Talent CIO gathered over 100 community members, learners, partner charities, and volunteers for our annual End of Year Community Celebration. The festive afternoon was a warm celebration of the year’s achievements, volunteer dedication, and community resilience.
The event provided a welcoming space to reflect on the hundreds of digital skills training hours delivered, laptops gifted, and wellness sessions organized throughout 2024.
Celebrating Our Dedicated Volunteers & Mentors
The backbone of Connect Talent CIO is our remarkable team of volunteers. The celebration opened with awards and heartfelt recognition for tutors, tech assistants, and event coordinators who gave their time selflessly throughout 2024 to support others.
Festive Fellowship, Hot Meals & Entertainment
Guests were treated to festive hot meals, seasonal music, and joyful entertainment. For many local elders and vulnerable residents, the gathering provided crucial winter companionship and emotional warmth.
Setting Goals for a Brighter 2025
The leadership team shared our vision for expanding digital accessibility, opening new referral pathways, and launching additional health and dyslexia support sessions in the year ahead.
